Cicchetti and aperitivi, oh my!

What are Cicchetti?
Pronounced chee-KET-eeh, they are savoury snacks or side dishes typically shared among friends in late afternoon or evening, served in wine bars across Venice. Guess what? Now you can get them here.

These small plates are Northern Italy’s answer to Spain’s tapas and will be available every Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. starting July 20. We will feature five different dishes using fresh LOCAL ingredients, representing different regions of Italy.
Menu items will change seasonally – so cicchetti are here to stay!
Enjoy as an appetizer or order several plates – all items are under $12!!
Match it with a glass or wine or cocktail – all under $10!!
“…prendiamo un aperitivo…”
If someone says this, you must be in Italy!
In North America we call it Happy Hour, but in Italy, saying “Let’s go get an aperitivo” usually means getting together with friends before dinner, enjoying a cocktail and eating small plates.
